Being a country house in the true sense of the word,
we welcome guests who bring their pets.
Horse and Pony Friendly
'Bring your horse on holiday!' with you, as
here, we have a secure paddock in which to keep your horse during
your stay. There is also room to 'park' your trailer too! There
are fantastic rides over the open hill tops or along the network
of bridleways. Try out the new 'Eppynt' Bridleway.
Ffos Farm is our selected Riding Centre at
nearby Llanwrtyd Wells. We can arrange riding for you simply
by making a phonecall while you are staying with us or you can
give Kim a ring on 01591610 459 yourself before you come and
make arrangements tailor made to your specific requirements.

• FreeRein Holidays:
At FreeRein, in Clyro near Hay on Wye, meet your Welsh cob and
then ride unescorted to our hotel. You are supplied with maps
which guide you across country and along bridleways to Caer
Beris Manor. Enjoy a welcome dinner, and a glass of wine in
the dining room or conservatory overlooking the grounds. You
can then check on 'your' pony before retiring for the night,
knowing you have an exciting ride ahead of you the next day.

• Trans Wales Trails:
From their farm at Cwmfforest near Talgarth, Trans Wales Trails
guide you on horse back, across the moors to arrive at our hotel,
on the first of the four day Trail Ride . This ride finishes
at the sea near Aberystwyth. Enjoy our hospitality of an evening
meal and maybe a glass of wine on the terrace, whilst you watch
your horse grazing on the grass below.
